Spring Break- healthy habits

So spring break is right around the corner, and I'm so not prepared to wear a bathing suit in public yet! I always say I'll eat healthier tomorrow...which turns into today...and it's still not totally happening.  So here are some snacks that are healthy and hopefully will help me stay on track!

-Emerald Nuts Cocoa Roasted Almonds - these are amazing!! I seriously crave chocolate all the time, and these are heart healthy!

-Babybell cheese

-Synder Pretzels

-Healthy Choice All-Natural entrees

-Soup (I'm addicted- I especially love the broth- luckily I don't have to watch my sodium intake yet!)

-Fruit and Veggies (also love birdseye steam fresh veggies, so good!)

I also just bought a yoga mat today so I can increase my flexibility and work on stress management; and there are so many cute ones out now it was hard to choose!  Here's to hoping I can fit into my bikinis in the not-to-distant future!

missing my dog!

Ok, so this is my first time posting! My blog is a work-in-progress...and I am really bad at technology, so don't judge too harshly!  I'm really excited to have a place to organize my thoughts and post my daily happenings- don't get too excited though, it's just the usual stuff unless my life gets way out of hand!

So right now I'm missing my dog, Rocky, so much! I'm a huge animal lover, and support the human society and SPCA one hundred percent!  The bigger the dog, the better.  My baby is a chocolate lab mix who is about 8 years old and acts like he's 2.  He thinks he's a lap dog (at 85 pounds) and has the prettiest coat I've ever seen.  I got him when I was in 8th grade from the county shelter, and have been in love with him ever since.  He and my dad are basically BFF...yes, my dad talks to him...and has a voice so Rocky "talks" back...it's not normal, but I wouldn't have it any other way.  So here's to the crazies I call family!

"No Matter how little money and how few possessions, you own, having a dog makes you rich."
    -Louis Sabin

"The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is his dog."
    -George Graham

"You think dogs will not be in heaven? I tell you, they will be there long before any of us."
    -Robert Louis

"The gift which I am sending you is called a dog, and is in fact the most precious and valuable possession of mankind"
    -Theodorus Gaza
